Olajide Olatunji — known to the world as KSI — has come a long way from the FIFA gaming videos that first made him famous on YouTube in 2011. Today, the 32-year-old Watford-born entrepreneur commands an estimated personal fortune of £200 million, built across a portfolio of ventures that would be remarkable for any entrepreneur, let alone one who began his career making videos in his bedroom.

Prime Hydration: The Game Changer

The single biggest contributor to KSI's wealth is Prime Hydration, the sports drink brand he co-founded with American YouTuber Logan Paul in 2022. What began as a celebrity-endorsed consumer product rapidly became a genuine business phenomenon. Prime generated an estimated $250 million in revenue in its first year — a figure that few consumer brands achieve in their first decade.

The brand's success was built on the combined social media reach of its founders — over 100 million subscribers between them — and a product that genuinely resonated with younger consumers. Prime became a cultural phenomenon in the UK, with supermarket shelves cleared within hours of new stock arriving and bottles selling on eBay for multiples of their retail price.

Boxing: The Sport That Built the Brand

KSI's boxing career — which began as an internet novelty with his first fight against Joe Weller in 2018 — has evolved into a serious commercial enterprise. His bouts have generated tens of millions of pounds in pay-per-view revenue, merchandise sales, and brand partnership income. The KSI-Logan Paul events drew some of the largest online pay-per-view audiences in British boxing history.

Music and Media

Less visible but commercially significant is KSI's music career, which has produced multiple UK charting singles and an extensive catalogue of recorded music. His media production company, Zephyr Entertainment, has expanded into podcast production, brand partnerships, and talent management.

"KSI represents a genuinely new model of British entrepreneurship," said Dr. James Cartwright of the Digital Economy Research Institute at UCL. "He's not a celebrity who put his name on a product. He built the audience first and then used it to create businesses. That's a fundamentally different — and arguably more durable — commercial model."
